Rhythm Challenge — Privacy Policy
How the Rhythm Challenge iOS app handles information.

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Rhythm Challenge (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Microphone and audio
The App can use your device’s microphone to analyze your playing in real time and score your timing. Audio is processed on your device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or any third party, unless you explicitly export and share an audio file yourself. Microphone access is requested only when you use a feature that needs it, and the App works in tap mode without the microphone.
2. Information we collect
We and our service providers may collect:
- Usage data and product interaction — how you interact with the App (screens opened, features used, sessions) to understand usage and improve the App.
- Device identifiers — including advertising and analytics identifiers.
- Advertising data — information used to serve and measure ads.
- Diagnostics / crash data — to detect and fix crashes and errors.
We do not ask for your name, email, or account registration to use the App.
3. How we use this information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
- To display and measure advertising.
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases.
4. Advertising and tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. With your permission, advertising identifiers may be used to deliver and measure more relevant ads, which constitutes “tracking” under Apple’s rules. Before any such tracking, the App asks for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the App still works fully and shows non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. Third-party services
We use the following service providers, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Firebase — Analytics, Crashlytics (crash reporting) and Cloud Messaging (push notifications) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Adapty (subscription management) — adapty.io/privacy
- Apple processes all in-app purchases and subscriptions — apple.com/legal/privacy
6. Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive or store your payment details.
7. Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we may send practice reminders. You can disable them at any time in iOS Settings.
8. Data retention and security
We retain analytics and diagnostics data only as long as needed for the purposes above. We rely on the security practices of Apple, Google and Adapty for data handled by their services.
9. Children
The App is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Your choices
- Decline or revoke tracking via the ATT prompt and iOS Settings.
- Limit ad personalization in iOS Settings.
- Disable notifications and microphone access in iOS Settings.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
